A GIRL THAN AND NOW

After marriage when a woman expects her first baby she never thinks of his/her sex whether the kid is going to be a boy or a girl, she is just happy about the process of germination and reproducing a life from herself. She enjoys her whole tennure of pregnancy without thinking about the pain and miseries she will get. During the course of her pregnacy the whole family cares for her make her feel happy but things changes when she delievered a baby girl. The love affection, care suddenly disappear like a bubble as if shehas done the most heneious crime by giving birth to a baby girl. I always wonder why is it happens , why have we created a wide drift b/w the two sexes. If there would be no girls who will give birth to there so called "WAARIS".I do have noticeanother thing of discrimination b/w a girl and boy that is career wise parents expects a lot and spend a lot on boys because they think its a kind of investment which will be double or triple in the forthcoming years.Parents always thinks girl as a burden since the time she took birth and till the time they die.Things are changing till some extent but not as a whole.Things are changing in metropolitan cities and they are touching the skies, but this not the indication of 80%women who are residing in villages. Govt. has comeout with many plans for the upliftment of girls , but what about on an individual level and what is the fault ofthat mother who brings out a life in this world. We women has to take our first foot forwad to see the cjhange what we want to see.

NAJAFGARH

Najafgarh a place situated in the south western part of Delhi came in highlight when VIRENDER SEHWAG a typically middle class family boy joined the Indian cricket squad and become more popular after his 2004 triple century at MULTAN(PAK.), from there he got the title of "MULTAN KA SULTAN", & "NAJAFGARH KA NAWAB", and now SUSHEEL KUMAR has done a lot for the towns recognition.
Najafgarh is surrounded with villages and share a border with Haryana. People of Delhi have misconception whether Najafgarh is a part of Haryana or Delhi., and most of them cosider it a part of Haryana because of its social, economical, and political conditions which resembles to a typical Haryana village, moresoever people use the same dialect which is used in Haryana. But irrespective of all this its a part ofour own Delhi. There are many places in Delhi like SEELAMPUR, USMANPUR which are more weired and unhygenic and unsophisticated.
The metro which connects all the parts of Delhi has its terminal at Najafgarh but not allowed to enter the town because of the ignorant people and political leaders.Najafgarh hasa very bad history in terms of political leaders i.e. ranbir kharb, sajjan kumar etc caste plays a very important role in this area of Delhi to decide the fortune of a leader., all the leaders are corrupted and might spend tthere rest of life in jail. And for all this repacussions people of Najafgarh are duly responsible because they never enquire what is happening. They are either ignorant or doesnot want to do anything could be in a nutshell a reason for the miserable condition of Najafgarh.
But I myself have observed a tremendous change in the social scenerio of the town.10 years ago you could hardly see 10 girls in the market hardly a single girl who is walking to her home alone from her school she was always accompnied by her mother or in a group. But now things have changed more girls are educated this area is producing doctors , engineers, army officers etc more ever due to commubnication things are changing in positive attitude.Ihope this change of wind will blow as fast as it can be to give NAJAFGARH its own identity.AND WE WILL SURELY DO IT ONE DAY NOT ONLY IN NAJFGARH BUT ALSO IN INDIA. AND NAJAFGARH IN NOT UNSAFE AT ALL ITS QUITE SAFE.
